Drew and Ally are one of the most generous, kind-hearted couples I’ve ever encountered. The nearly two-hundred guests that gathered to witness their big day was testament to how loved (and loving) they are. Their wedding took place on a beautiful San Diego afternoon overlooking the San Diego Bay. The views were phenomenal with the San Diego skyline painting a picturesque backdrop as they exchanged their vows. Thanks to Drew’s service in the United States Navy, their venue was the Admiral Kidd Catering and Conference Center located on Point Loma. This venue offers stunning outdoor venues as well as a large ballroom complete with an oversized balcony.
DIY elements are always a favorite and their big day put a spotlight on Ally’s creativity thanks to her handiwork. From the invitations to the favors and the centerpieces to the place cards, Ally designed and crafted most of the items that graced their reception. Ally even baked and frosted their cake, an oversized cupcake, THE NIGHT BEFORE THEIR WEDDING.
After feasting on their meals, guests enjoyed an assortment of cupcakes and cookies followed by dancing, including a flawless father-daughter swing dance. Here’s to a lifetime of happiness for Drew and Ally and an eternity of days as memorable as their wedding day!
